Calgary Exhibition and Stampede -
Indian Village Nation Welcome Feature

At each Calgary Exhibition & Stampede, the First Nations people at Indian Village represent the five Nations, the Siksika, Tsuu T'ina, Stoney Nakoda, Pikuni and Kainai of Treaty 7. New updated information displays were designed by Stephen Sinclaire, BOND Creative, one for each of the five Nations, that carried the history of each, the history of Treaty 7 and a map of their history in Alberta. The Nation symbol is displayed on top of the triad unit. The sturdy, freestanding displays had to be portable to be moved each day. Natural birch wood was incorporated into the structure to provide an authentic natural element to the unit.
